Chinedu Nwosu is a distinguished scholar and economist with a robust history of contributions to education and economic research. With extensive experience in academic administration, and professional development, Chinedu demonstrates a high level commitment to excellence and innovation in the educational sector. Chinedu has made significant contributions to the field of economics and the broader academic community. With a commitment to quality assurance, research, and lifelong learning, he continues to inspire and lead in the pursuit of academic and professional excellence. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics, Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri. He holds a P.hD in Development Economics from Nnamdi Azikiwe Univeristy Awka, a Masters degree in Business Economics from Swansea University, United Kingdom, B.Sc.Ed/Economics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Nigeria Certificate in Education from Alvan Ikoku College of Education,Owerri. He attended Uratta Secondary School, Owerri and Orji Town Primary School, Owerri.

Chinedu has functioned in several academic leadership roles. He was Exam Officer in the Department of Economics, Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education,Owerri (A.I.F.C.E). Owerri where he ensured the integrity and efficiency of the examination process within the Department. He served as a Sports Officer for the School of Social Sciences promoting physical education and sports activities among students while enhancing their overall well-being and fostering a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition. In 2017, the school team under his leadership won the Provost football trophies in both the male and female categories. He has been a Staff Adviser serving as a mentor and guide to students in their academic and personal development, helping them navigate the transition to higher education and succeed in their studies. Other roles include: Secretary, Textbook Assessment, Monitoring and Pricing Committee, SASS (2019 - 2021); Member, Conference and Publication Committee, SASS (2019 - 2021); Assistant Coordinator, Pre-NCE and Extra-Moral Unit, Centre for Continuing Education, A.I.F.C.E. Owerri (2018 - 2020); Coordinator, Pre-NCE and Extra-Moral Unit, Centre for Continuing Education, A.I.F.C.E. Owerri (2020); Member, Quality Assurance Committee (2020);Chairman, Data Analysis Sub-committee of Quality Assurance Unit (2020); Coordinator, Sandwich/Pre-NCE and Extra-Moral Unit (2021 - 2023);Member, College Convocation Committee (2021); Member, Technical Advisory Committee, Centre of Excellence (2022);Member, College Research Team (2023); Member, Committee on Online Teaching (2023);Member, Development, Research and Innovation (2023); Member, Textbook Quality and Pricing Committee (2023) He is also a reviewer to selected academic journals and publishers.

Chinedu is a Member, Nigerian Economic Society (NES) and Member, Nigerian Association of Macroeconomic Modelers (NAMM). He has attended many Workshops and Trainings which include: Enhancing Research & Technical Paper Writing Skills through Application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (G-AI) (Nov. 2023) Organized by AI PRO-HUB Nigeria. This workshop enhanced Chinedu’s skills in utilizing generative AI for research and technical paper writing, staying at the forefront of technological advancements in academic research; Academic Paper Writing Workshop (Jan. 2024); Cybersecurity Training for Teachers (May 2024).

Chinedu has published many scholarly articles in the both local and international journals. He has equally attended several academic conferences. His research output is very visible online in notable databases like Google scholar and ResearchGate. Chinedu Nwosu is happily married to Mrs. Eucharia Nwosu and they are blessed with Five lovely children.
